• Spring Plant Ordering Policy: A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to hold early season plant orders. If plants have not been picked up (4) weeks after the order date, they will be put back and the deposit will be kept.

• Special Hold Requests: For smaller quantities, a deposit is not required. Plants can be held in your name on a pallet by the check-out area, but they will be put away after (2) weeks.

• We do not offer online ordering or shipping. Our current stock is maintained internally but we do not keep a live public updated inventory.

* Please show your CMGA card to staff before purchasing

** If you are a non-profit, municipality or tax-exempt entity, please make sure to bring a copy of your State-issued paperwork that we can retain for our files. By law, we are required to ask tradespeople/landscapers for current paperwork annually.

Accepted Forms of Payment:

• Cash, Check, all major Credit Cards, Gift Credit Cards, ApplePay, CashApp and Venmo

• Processing Fee: 3.5% service fee will be charged for all virtual payments and credit card transactions

• Cash or Check payments avoid this additional processing fee

• Checks can be made out to Earth Tones, LLC (please include your phone number on the top left corner)

• CT State Tax is added to all orders after discounts unless you are tax-exempt

Gift Certificates are available in any dollar amount you choose. They are tax-free and can be purchased either in-person or over the phone (1.5% service fee will be added for credit card processing). We can mail the gift certificate to the recipient at no additional cost. We're sorry, we do not email gift certificates to recipients but receipts can be emailed or texted to the buyer and we keep track of gift certificates by number.

Pickups: Large orders (25+ plants or $250.00 minimum) may be pulled ahead of time for pickup at the nursery during our general hours. Please give us at least (7) days notice and call or email to set up a pickup time. We will help you load up the plants and cover them. 

Bringing a tarp to protect plants in transport is recommended (tarps are available for sale for $20). If unable to pick up plants on the scheduled pickup date, please notify us to reschedule.

Deliveries: Local delivery charge is $250.00 plus additional mileage and labor fee depending on distance from the nursery and volume/quantity of plant material ordered.
