Description: This aquatic is on the border of ponds, marshes and streams. It has lance shaped leaves 2 to 10 inches long. The flower is on a stalk 3 to 4 inches with violet-blue tubular flowers. Flowers from June to November. Can live in up to 6 inches of water once established. Prefers full sun. Edible young leaves!
